A beautiful one-of-a-kind designer, ceramic cabochon is accented with Opalized petrified wood stones. Set in Sterling with gold brass accents and labradorite. The handmade chain is adjustable in length up to 18 3/4 inches.
 
Opalized petrified wood is formed when silica-rich groundwater (from volcanic ash over an organic surface) seeps into buried wood and replaces the organic matter over time. The resulting stone can have a variety of colors and patterns, depending on the type of wood and the amount of opalization.
