Quartz flint rock lines the bottom of the Jugtown Pottery wood kilns and goes through 12-24 salt firings, absorbing salts from the firings and changing color and strucdture. I am cutting pieces of it to add to my jewelry. This piece is prong set in a necklace and accented with labradorites. It is adjustable in length up to 17". Truly one of a kind.
